Lanae is a big believer in Gallup's Strengthsfinder assessment. In the book, there is a story about a gifted shoemaker who was so swamped by finding new customers, accounting, etc., that he was unable to keep up with the most important aspect of his business: making shoes! Once he hired someone to take care of the paperwork, the shoemaker could again focus on creating footwear. By allowing both the shoemaker and the employee to play to their strengths, the business became more profitable.
